Bill Dozer Retreived My $ From 10Bet! <hr style="color: rgb(51, 102, 153);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> When 10Bet stopped servicing US customers, they refused to figure out a way to pay me. Though it was not a large amount, there was principle involved. THey cut off my log in capability by blocking my US ISP, so I could not even access my account. This was shortly before Neteller cut off US accounts.
All they would suggest was that I open up a non-US bank account or they could send it to a non-US person. I said that was not good for me and suggested several alternatives, including click to pay (one of their listed options), a transfer to another book, mailing me a check, etc. They were basically non-responsive.
I wrote Betting Advice, a Euro Forum that they advertise on. They tried to intervene, but basically said my $ was safe and be patient, they are trying to figure something out. While that eased my mind a bit, having been burned by MVP and another fly-by night book, it was not a solution.
I wrote Bill on 1/27. On 1/31, he said that 5Dimes would take my transfer. On 2/2 he asked for my 5Dimes account #. Today, 2/8, the transfer went through. 5Dimes balked at first when I called, but once I emailed them the transfer info that Bill sent me, they accepted it (30 minutes after Bill told me to call them). Pretty cool.
Bottom line: Bill got results when other methods failed. Thanks again Bill!
